These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at omniteam.com.my, our campaign microsites and web forms, our official business accounts and channels on WhatsApp operated through the WhatsApp Business Platform, and the contests, promotions, redemption programmes, prize fulfilment activities and events we operate (collectively, the “Services”).
The Services are owned and operated by Omniteam Sdn Bhd (Company Registration No. 200001030682) (“Omniteam”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a company incorporated in Malaysia with its registered business address at:

By accessing or using the Services, including by messaging our official WhatsApp business numbers, submitting an entry to any contest, promotion or redemption programmes we operate, or registering for or attending any event we manage, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. The Services
Omniteam is a contest and marketing agency specialising in digital contest, promotion, redemption and loyalty programmes and related event management.
Our Services include, among others:
- WABA Contest: contest participation and proof of purchase submission via WhatsApp;
- OmniWeb: campaign microsites and web forms;
- Omnirewards: redemption programmes via WhatsApp and web, supported by chatbot, AI and optical character recognition technology;
- Omnitrack: operations tracking solutions;
- End-to-end contest management;
- Winner verification;
- Prize fulfilment; and
- Event management services.
Many of our campaigns and events are operated on behalf of the brand owners and companies that engage us (“Brand Partners”).
Omniteam is certified to ISO/IEC 27001 (information security) and ISO 9001 (quality management) and is independently assessed and rated by EcoVadis for sustainability and responsible business practices.
2. Eligibility
The Services are intended for individuals aged eighteen (18) years and above who are resident in Malaysia, unless the terms of a specific campaign or event expressly provide otherwise.
Where a campaign or event permits participation by a minor, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required, and the parent or guardian is responsible for the minor’s use of the Services.
Employees of Omniteam, the relevant Brand Partners and their respective agencies may be excluded from participation as set out in the applicable campaign terms.
3. WhatsApp channels: opt-in and opt-out
Opt-in
We will only initiate messages to you on WhatsApp where you have opted in, for example by first messaging our official business number, scanning a campaign QR code, or providing your number and consent through a web form or event registration.
The messages we send relate to the programme or event you joined, such as:
- Entry confirmations
- Status updates
- Redemption instructions
- Winner notifications
- Event reminders
- Customer support responses
Promotional messages will only be sent where you have separately consented.
Opt-out
You may stop receiving messages from us on WhatsApp at any time by replying STOP to any of our messages or by contacting us using the details in Section 20.
Opting out of a campaign channel may mean we are unable to continue administering your participation in that campaign.
Your WhatsApp account
Your use of WhatsApp itself is governed by WhatsApp’s own Terms of Service and policies, which are separate from these Terms. Standard data charges from your mobile or internet provider may apply.
No affiliation with Meta
Omniteam is an independent business. WhatsApp is a product of Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates. Omniteam is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Meta or WhatsApp, and Meta is not a sponsor of, and bears no responsibility for, any contest, promotion or event we operate.
Official channels
Only messages from our verified or officially published business numbers are sent by us. We will never ask you for passwords, one-time passcodes (OTP), or full banking credentials over WhatsApp. Please report suspicious messages claiming to be from Omniteam using the contact details in Section 20.
4. Campaign-specific terms
Each contest, promotion, redemption or loyalty programme, and each event, is governed by its own terms and conditions (“Campaign Terms”), which set out matters such as:

- Entry mechanics
- Proof of purchase requirements
- Judging criteria
- Prizes
- Prize collection
- Event arrangements
By entering a campaign or registering for an event you also agree to its Campaign Terms. If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the Campaign Terms, the Campaign Terms prevail for that campaign or event.
Decisions of Omniteam and the relevant Brand Partners on campaign matters, including winner selection and entry validity, are final where the Campaign Terms so provide.
5. Contest management and prize fulfilment
Omniteam manages contests, promotions and redemption programmes, including winner verification and prize fulfilment, on behalf of Brand Partners. Unless the applicable Campaign Terms provide otherwise, the following applies:
Administration
Omniteam administers entry registration, validation, deduplication, shortlisting, judging support, and prize fulfilment in accordance with the Campaign Terms and the Brand Partners’ instructions. As stated in the Campaign Terms, the Brand Partner remains the promoter of the campaign and Omniteam acts as its appointed contest management agency.
Winner verification
Shortlisted or selected winners may be required to produce NRIC or passport, or original proof of purchase before a prize is released. Failure to complete verification within the stipulated period, or discrepancies between entry details and verification documents, may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.
Prize claims
Prizes must be claimed in the manner and within the period stated in the Campaign Terms or winner notification. Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited and dealt with as directed by the Brand Partners.
Nature of prizes
Prizes are not transferable and not exchangeable for cash unless the Campaign Terms expressly provide otherwise. Omniteam or the Brand Partners may substitute a prize with one of equivalent or greater value if necessary. Prize images are for illustration purposes only.
Prizes supplied by Brand Partners
Unless otherwise stated, prizes are supplied by or on behalf of the Brand Partners or its vendors. Omniteam acts solely as the appointed contest management agency. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Omniteam gives no warranty regarding the quality, merchantability or fitness of any prize and is not liable for any failure or delay by the Brand Partners or its vendors in supplying or honoring a prize.
Costs and taxes
Unless otherwise stated, all incidental costs of claiming or using a prize, including travel, accommodation, insurance and applicable taxes, are borne by the winner.
Delivery and risk
Where prizes are delivered, reasonable care is taken to arrange delivery. You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery details. Risk passes to you upon delivery or collection. Damaged, defective or incorrect prizes should be reported within the period stated in the Campaign Terms & Conditions.
Release on acceptance
Acceptance of a prize constitutes full and final settlement of your entitlement under the campaign and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, releases Omniteam and the Brand Partners from further liability, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Publicity
Where Campaign Terms require, winners may participate in publicity activities including prize-giving ceremonies, photography, and announcements, and consent to the use of their name, photograph and likeness for campaign publicity without additional compensation, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
Records and audit
Fulfilment records, including acknowledgements of prize receipt, are maintained and may be provided to Brand Partners and its auditors for verification purposes.
6. Events
Omniteam organizes and manages events including roadshows, brand activations, product launches, sampling activities, redemption counters, and prize-giving ceremonies, whether in its own right or on behalf of Brand Partners.
The following applies in addition to any Campaign Terms or event-specific rules:
Registration and admission
Admission may be subject to prior registration, capacity limits, age restrictions, identification, or proof of eligibility. Admission passes are personal and may not be resold.
Conduct
You must comply with these Terms, Event rules, Venue rules, and the reasonable instructions of event personnel.
Right to refuse admission
Omniteam and the Brand Partners reserve the right to refuse admission to or remove anyone who breaches Event rules, behaves in a disruptive, abusive or unsafe manner, or appears intoxicated.
Photography and recording
Photography, videography and audio recording may take place for documentation, reporting and publicity purposes. By attending an Event where notice has been given, you acknowledge that you may appear in such recordings. Commercial recording is not permitted without prior written consent.
Changes and cancellation
Event dates, venues, schedules and content may change. Events may be postponed, relocated or cancelled where reasonably necessary.
Personal belongings and safety
You are responsible for your own belongings. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Omniteam is not liable for loss or damage except where caused by its negligence.
7. Your obligations
When using the Services, you agree to:
- provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information;
- submit only genuine and unaltered proof of purchase belonging to you;
- participate personally and not through bots, scripts or automated methods unless expressly permitted;
- not upload unlawful, offensive or malicious content;
- not interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services; and
- comply with all applicable laws, these Terms and the relevant Campaign Terms.
8. Fraud, Invalid Entries and Disqualification
We use automated technology, including AI-assisted optical character recognition (OCR) and validation, together with manual review, to verify entries and proof of purchase submissions.
We reserve the right, acting reasonably, to:
- reject or invalidate any entry;
- disqualify any participant;
- withhold any prize pending investigation;
- reclaim any prize already awarded; and
- suspend or block access to the Services,
where we have reason to believe that an entry is:
- fraudulent;
- duplicated;
- tampered with;
- generated or altered by automated or artificial means; or
- otherwise in breach of these Terms or the applicable Campaign Terms.
No compensation is payable for any prize lawfully withheld, forfeited or reclaimed under this Section. Suspected fraudulent activity may be reported to the relevant Brand Partners and the appropriate authorities.
9. Content You Submit
You retain ownership of the content you submit through the Services, such as receipt images and entry materials.
By submitting content, you grant Omniteam and, where applicable, the relevant Brand Partners a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, process (including by automated means), and use the content for the purposes of:
- administering the relevant campaign or Event;
- verifying entries;
- fulfilling prizes;
- preventing fraud;
- preparing campaign reports; and
- complying with legal and audit obligations,
in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the applicable Campaign Terms.
You warrant and confirm that you have the right to submit the content, and that the content does not infringe the rights of any third party.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree not to assert any moral rights in the submitted content against Omniteam or the relevant Brand Partners in relation to the uses described above.
10. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property in the Services, including the Omniteam name and logo, our platforms, software, chatbot flows, page designs, text, graphics, and databases, belongs to Omniteam or its licensors. Brand names, trademarks and campaign materials belonging to Brand Partners remain the property of those Brand Partners. WhatsApp and the WhatsApp logo are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use any trade mark, name or logo appearing on the Services.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Services except as permitted by law or with our prior written consent.
11. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on and may link to third-party platforms and services, including the WhatsApp Business Platform, cloud hosting providers, payment disbursement providers, courier services, and event venues. We are not responsible for the availability, content, policies or practices of these third-party platforms. Your use of such platforms is subject to their own terms and conditions.
12. Availability and Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we take reasonable care in operating the Services, we do not warrant or guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, free from viruses, or delivered without delay, particularly where delivery depends on WhatsApp, telecommunications networks or other third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for entries or submissions that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, corrupted, misdirected, or not received, whether due to technical failure, network congestion, device error, WhatsApp or platform outage, or any cause beyond our reasonable control. Such entries may be treated as invalid.
Automated processing of proof of purchase submissions, including OCR and AI-assisted extraction, may occasionally produce errors. If you believe your submission has been incorrectly rejected or read, you may request a manual review within the period specified in the applicable Campaign Terms. The outcome of that review is final.
We reserve the right to correct typographical errors, printing errors, and system errors in campaign materials, prize descriptions or published results. No claim shall arise from reliance on information published in error and subsequently corrected.
Content on our website is provided for general information only and does not constitute professional advice. You should not rely on it as the basis for any decision without independent verification.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and representations not expressly stated in these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under Malaysian law, including liability under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 where applicable, or liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Omniteam, its directors, officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, your inability to use the Services, participation in any campaign, or attendance at any Event, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, Omniteam’s liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Omniteam and, where applicable, the relevant Brand Partners, together with their directors, officers, employees and agents, from and against all claims, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:
- your breach of these Terms;
- your breach of any applicable Campaign Terms;
- your fraudulent or unlawful conduct;
- your conduct at an Event; or
- any content you submit in breach of Section 9.
15. Suspension, Termination and Force Majeure
We may suspend, restrict or terminate your access to all or part of the Services, and may suspend, modify or discontinue any campaign or Event in accordance with its Campaign Terms where we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, suspension is required by law or a Brand Partner’s instructions, or necessary to protect the security or integrity of the Services. Sections 8 to 14 shall survive any termination.
Force Majeure
Neither Omniteam nor any Brand Partner shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms or any Campaign Terms, including the conduct of a campaign or Event or the fulfilment of a prize, where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including: acts of God, floods, fire, epidemics or pandemics, government actions or restrictions, civil disturbances, strikes, utility failures, telecommunications failures, or failure or withdrawal of the WhatsApp Business Platform or other third-party services. Where such circumstances arise, we may suspend, postpone, modify or cancel the affected campaign or Event without liability and will take reasonable steps to notify affected participants.
16. Privacy
Our collection, use and protection of your personal data in connection with the Services, including contest management, winner verification, prize fulfilment and Events, is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please read it carefully.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page together with a revised effective date. Where reasonably practicable, material changes will be highlighted. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any revision constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. You and Omniteam submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia in respect of any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services.
19. General
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. No failure or delay by us in exercising any right under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to an affiliate or successor.
Nothing in these Terms creates any partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or agency relationship between you and Omniteam or any Brand Partners. These Terms, together with the applicable Campaign Terms and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Omniteam in relation to the Services.
